Artist and writer Trevor Paglen has been documenting the secret activities of the U.S. military and intelligence agencies for the last eight years.
He uses long-range photography to shoot top-secret governmental 'black sites' and uses the data of amateur satellite watchers to track and photograph classified spacecraft in Earth's orbit.
He also collects patches worn by military units working on classified missions. The projects are known by weird names like "Goat Suckers" and "Tastes Like Chicken" and illustrated with occult symbols and strange cartoons. I expect I'm not the only one keeping tabs on his work...
