Stanley Kubrick is Dead

Tom Sachs is a sculptor. He makes stuff like Knoll office furniture out of phone books and duct tape. And fast food chains from plywood, glue, and assorted kitchen appliances.

He also made 'The Island' (2006). A large scale reconstruction of the command area on the bridge of an aircraft carrier, 'The Island' is fully equipped with working radar, monitor, radio devices, and television cameras.

Inside he furnished the cabin with everyday necessities; two berths, a cabinet stocked with cigarettes and Jack Daniels, a toilet, and a selection of tools including a limited edition 'Stanley Kubrick is Dead' tape measure.
